Jacob brings experience in resource development, community fundraising, and nonprofit strategy to Fairmount’s clients in planning for development and sustainable growth. Before joining the team at Fairmount, Jacob worked at the Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group, s small human service nonprofit near his hometown in Northeast Connecticut, as the Community Development Coordinator.
Jacob earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Development from Richmond, the American International University in London and studied a myriad of subjects, ranging from risk analysis to sustainable biofuel development. While in London, he worked for Peace One Day, an international peace building and advocacy group, and for Choice International, a small nonprofit focusing on bridging the gap between disadvantaged disabled communities and the business world. Jacob’s experience with diverse organizations informs his understanding of the intricacies of nonprofit work and the approach to resource development strategy that he offers Fairmount’s clients.
Ask Jacob anything related to coffee and he will give you more information than you ever needed. He’s always looking for podcast recommendations to listen to while he explores his new home of Philadelphia. firstname.lastname@example.org
