Anneliese is a seasoned and energetic nonprofit professional with over a decade of experience working in Philadelphia’s vibrant arts sector. Her background incudes all facets of resource development from grant-writing to capital campaign management, as well as five years as Managing Director for InterAct Theatre Company where she was responsible for fiscal oversight and business management.
At InterAct Theatre Company, Anneliese led a $2.9M capital campaign towards opening The Drake Theatre- a two-theatre performance venue located in one of Center City’s most beautiful and iconic historic buildings. Prior to her work at InterAct, Anneliese spent 5 years with FringeArts, formerly The Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe, as Development Manager where she oversaw the Festival’s individual giving and major gifts program, supported Board relations, and served as the staff liaison and patron services coordinator for the first annual FEASTIVAL Gala in 2010.
Anneliese enjoys creating systems and clearing through the clutter to streamline and synthesize complex information into digestible pieces. A former actor, she finds herself using her theatre training frequently when tackling operational challenges, strategizing about communication, and parsing the nuances of organizational dynamics.
A bonafide Hoosier from Bloomington, Indiana, Anneliese has called Philadelphia her home since 2005. She earned her BA in Dance and Drama from Kenyon College and set out for a career in the arts, getting her start at The Arden Theatre Company as a Professional Apprentice. A devoted city-dweller, bicycle commuter, and cultural consumer, Anneliese enjoys finding new ways to experience her beloved city and region in her free time. email@example.com
