Assistant Vice President
Katie has a talent for helping nonprofits define or refine their missions, think strategically about their next steps, and maximize their impact. She believes that a clear vision paired with intentional planning leads to meaningful change for organizations and the communities they serve.
Katie’s approach to planning is informed by nearly four years working and volunteering in under-resourced settings throughout Latin America and Southeast Asia. Most recently, she managed public health and women’s empowerment projects in rural Cambodia. Today, she brings the skills she developed while abroad: a keen ability to create structured process in the midst of ambiguity, an open-mindedness that facilitates trusting relationships with diverse communities, and the organizational skills needed to manage complex projects.
Outside of work, Katie volunteers on the boards of Nationalities Service Center and the Philadelphia Area Peace Corps Association, and she is a member of Impact100. Katie has a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication from Central Michigan University and a Master’s in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh. email@example.com
